Sarin Educates HP Execs Abroad

Professor Shikhar Sarin conducted seminars on "Advanced Marketing Strategies for Technology Products" in Israel and Spain earlier this year.  Hewlett-Packard invited Dr. Sarin to offer these seminars to over 60 HP managers in Tel Aviv and Barcelona during May-June 2006.

Sarin Recognized for Sustained
Research and Scholarship

Six faculty members were recognized earlier this week for sustained research and scholarship efforts in the first Presidential Research and Scholarship Awards. One faculty member from each of Boise State’s six academic colleges received a $1,000 award at a ceremony on campus. Dr. Shikhar Sarin, associate professor of marketing, was chosen from the College of Business and Economics. 

In June 2003 Professor Sarin published in the Decision Sciences journal, and had two additional papers published in The Journal of Marketing Theory and Practice, one of which was the lead article. Sarin also published two manuscripts in 2003 that were presented at a regional and international conference. Professor Sarin formerly held the Bozzone Chair of Management and Technology at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York before joining BSU in 2002.
