MacDonald Recognized for Teaching In January 2006, Dr. Jason MacDonald, associate professor of marketing, received a 2005 Student's Choice Award in recognition of his commitment and dedication to the students of Boise State University. His student nominator wrote, "Dr. MacDonald teaches topics that are practical and not just theory. He teaches about trends, processes, actual uses for data that is collected in surveys, and how companies can look at marketing as a key to great success not just as a division of the company." The Associated Students of Boise State University (ASBSU) sponsors the faculty recognition event each year. |

MacDonald Awarded Faculty Research Grant Dr. Jason MacDonald, assistant professor of marketing, has been awarded a faculty research grant for summer 2002. His project is entitled, "The Role of Financial Market Expectations in the Process of Competition: Extending Resource Advantage Theory to Better Explain the New Economy." Dr. MacDonald's submission was one of only two proposals selected from among 23 proposals submitted by Boise State University faculty. Keith Harvey, assistant professor of finance and also a member of the Department of Marketing and Finance, received the second grant. |
